R IS FOR REJUVINATION
Rejuvination produced beautiful Detroit techno of a delicate glacial kind on influential Soma label. Their catalogue isn’t extensive but is worth seeking out.
From their Soma biog: Rejuvination consists of Glenn Gibbons and Jim Moutune, who alongside Dave Clarke, Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle founded Soma Records in 1991. Glenn and Jim were originally the sound engineers on Slam’s classic cuts “Eterna” and “Positive Education” and in their own right they were responsible for tracks like “Work in Progress”, “Requiem”, “Sychophantasy”, “Dr Peter” and their “Introduction” album.
Glenn and Jim no longer record as Rejuvination; however, they are both still directors of the company, and Glenn now records as Universal Principles with Stuart McMillan and Nick Peacock.
From 1995′s “Introduction” LP:
Rejuvination – Dr Peter
Rejuvination – Requiem
Rejuvination – Subtle Indoctrination
