Classics get remixed. From Octave One ‘Revisited Series II’ on 430 West comes the Aril Brikha remix of Daystar Rising. A really lovely mix with a gentle hypnotic feel.

Following the success of Volume 1 of their Revisited Series, which featured Octave One’s seminal tracks ‘Meridian’ and ‘Dema’, the label now prepares to release remixes of Octave One’s debut on Derrick May’s Transmat imprint, ‘I Believe’ and their monumental release from the Underground Resistance/430 West Records limited release ‘Daystar Rising’. For this outing, the Burden brother’s ‘I Believe’ gets a very special treatment from the enigmatic techno unit, Sandwell District, while Aril Brikha, the master behind the massive hit ‘Groove La Chord’, lays his hands on ‘Daystar Rising’.   Both of these re-workings take the originals to the next level, interweaving the characteristic sound of Sandwell District & Aril Brikha with classic Octave One.
