NEW MUSIC: WHITE MOUNTAINS – SPECTRA
This track came as a lovely change after being battered by a club banger, when I hadn’t even finished my first coffee. White Mountains is New Hampshire based Peter James. The track is from his new Lightforms EP, out in June. Spectra is five minutes of drift along handclaps and phasers set to delay. Too many beats for ambient shoegaze but heading in that direction with the vocal a series of tones and sounds, rather than words. Perfect for the first coffee of the day.
