NEW MUSIC: HOOKY – THE SWITCH
Last time, I described Hooky’s style of dubstep as marmite – “Either you’ll think this sort of noize is great or it’s bloody awful.” He’s back with new tune The Switch. The noize is great this time. There’s even some semblance of a melody and some vocals, as a classical excerpt collides with a pop song in the Hooky atomsmasher. Melody mostly obscured by some bass. Obviously.
