REMIXING CLASSICS: Plastikman – Ask Yourself (Lucien Reden r3mix @Burnstudios)
Since I enjoyed Lucien Reden’s remix of Rave On Kids by Acid Invaders the other day, I thought you’d like this remix he did of Plastikman’s Ask Yourself. Available to download.
The remix goes for slow approaching menace – a bit like a remixed version of the Mastermind theme. Try imagining John Humphreys sitting there looking tetchy whilst this plays and its quite funny. Good track, mind.
And as a bonus here’s a downloadable remix of Green Velvet’s Turn It Up. Another slow techno one but more squelchy distorted. Not quite as effective.
