NEW MUSIC: Mt. Eden
Since we had some remixes from Mt Eden earlier, seemed a bit unfair not to also highlight a couple of their excellent original dnb tracks available for free download.
First, Into The Light, which is uplifting dnb. This has that epic sweep of almost choral effects and ascending string-like chords.
Second, When Will The Storm Begin, which is dnb but has much in common with some of Hybrid’s epic breaks.
Bonus: remixing Burial is a brave thing to do. But they’ve remixed modern classic Archangel. They’ve opted not to do much structurally. The main sample remains. It’s just a bit deeper than before.
