REMIXING CLASSICS: Lionrock-Packet of peace-deadstock 33′s remix
Lionrock’s Packet of Peace from 1993 is a techno classic that has had any number of remixes, from The Chemical Brothers to Jeff Mills. And it has continued to be remixed. So, it’s no surprise that Justin Robertson himself has had a more recent go, on this 2010 release under his Deadstock 33s name. This takes the original from it’s leftfield techno base into a cosmic disco exploration. Doesn’t necessarily improve on the original but doesn’t shame it either.
