You can rather understand why this wouldn’t win the competiton. This is a very restrained remix and that’s rarely somethin that seems to win comps – sadly in my view. Breaks take second place to a mournful pace of strung out dub. The vocal (by Liela Moss) is allowed a lot of time in the limelight and that adds to the atmospheric feel of the track. If you like UNKLE’s stranger, quieter moments, this is for you.
