While we’re having a downtempo mood here, let’s have this remix by Freddy Woods of the achingly hip The Weeknd’s track Echoes of Silence. Freddy keeps it all laid back, dials down a bit the R&B and nuances in a bit of light trance feeling. But without destroying the overall structure. Good work. Free download.

It is me or does Echoes of Silence have an element of the 70s prog rock taking-yourself-too-seriously/pomposity?
