Clubfeet – BrightLightsBigCity

It’s been a while since we had anything from Clubfeet and they’re back with a new single, the spacebar avoiding BrightLightsBigCity - which not only comes in a variety of indie dance remixes but also some free downloads.

The original track (free download) is some almost chiming guitar, shuffly dance sensibilities and a hopeful vocal. Actually quite good. The free remixes come from The Whip who give it a big dose of synths like they were The 14th Minute. Indie disco with emphasis on the word disco. Mercury’s remix focuses on the twangy throbby bassline. Gives it more of an eighties feel. All Dom Wrong provides the final downloadable mix. This goes for an early 90s piano stabs kind of flavour and removes all the vocal. The most successful and dancefloor friendly.
