A mixtape from Thee Paus3. Although he casually claims “No theme, no order, no editing. Just hit record and here’s what came out. Perfect for that 60 minute run in the heat. No pain, no gain, right?” this is a really good mixtape. I think it’s the mix of the known and the unknown. But the way it’s mixed even the known is not quite as you remember it and it all hurries by. There’s bits of LCD Soundsystem Tribulations, Portishead Nylon Smile, Blue Öyster Cult (Don’t Fear) The Reaper and Underworld Born Slippy.
