Hector Villanueva Agramonte (Richi P Remix)
A track from Hector Villanueva’s new Consciousness EP out on 15 August on Parity Records. The EP is of a uniform good standard but nothing stands out, except this remix. It’s a long track and doesn’t really get going until 1.30 when mix-in beats finally give way to some almost 80s drums and a lovely synth melody line that lifts the whole thing and lifts the spirits. It’s sort of deep house but with a wistful yearning groove. Summer house tune.
