Pale – Silverstair EP
Here’s something different to end the day and the real end of London 2012 for me. It’s by Northern musician Pale. It’s ambient but with wobble bass. Lovelier than that sounds. It’s been a hell of a summer but I’m knackered, so postings might get a bit erratic for the rest of the week.
The original mix of Silverstair gets along with some xylophone and a complex mix of other sounds and voices. Quite uplifting in its lightly glitched but soothing way. The 5kinandbone5 remix relies more on the sub bass for its heft and is otherwise quite fragile. The final remix comes from Kahwe which moves it to a near house tempo and probably is the best of the mixes. Lovely.
Blurb: Young Northern composer/producer Pale brings fresh vibes straight from the studio for any setting. ‘Silverstair’, the ambient iconic anthem brings you everything from warm synths to complements any sunset or rise with a drop to finish or start any set. ‘Silverstair’ will get any basement, warehouse or field stomping! Have a listen for yourself With remixes from friends 5kinAndBone5 and Kahwe, they bring you two alternative bass wombling and pad driven refixes of Silverstair.
