A Struggle Between Right or Wrong
Sorry D, this is more synth. Rather unexpected from Starquake Records, where electro house or ambient has ruled the roost. This is a synth-based album by Zero Call for free download.
Zero Call is a collaboration between Frank and Andy. As you can see from the cover art, this plants its flag firmly in the big haired 80s. Synths are set to stun. A-40 is a complete synth fest. Very Jordan F or Grum. Battle of Young goes for something more twangy. Say Hello To Devil is a more reflective piece with a bit of ‘lost’ vocoder. Earthquake is big synth banks washing over you. Fear has a Vangelis sound. Sirius is the finale. It’s another slow one but the most modern sounding with its distorted elements. This album is high on synths.

Blurb: In december 2010, after various experiences of indie rock projects, Andy and Frank decided to close themselves into a record studio and transform their ideas, adventures and emotions into music, mixing up their different backgrounds. It became even more spontaneus when they started using real instruments and not just a computer; the result is “A Struggle Between Right or Wrong”, their first album, made of modern electro sounds combined with dark, ambient, and 80′s music.

I may have to lodge an official protest at this developing obsession…
Cool!
