Dot Allison – Cry (Slam Vocal Remix)
Trying to bridge the chilled sounds of yesterday and this morning, here’s a post that mixes two things from other blogs I read yesterday.
JC from The Vinyl Villain had a solo single from Dot Allison (perhaps better known as the vocalist from 90s dance group One Dove) with the remix provided by Glasgow’s Slam whose work was praised by Drew at Across The Kitchen Table. Here they are together in a gently bleeping bit of techno from 2011 over which Dot’s voice wafts in ghostly washes.
I love this tune!
