Joor Nitth – Feels Like Underwater (Ft. Calendargirl)

Here’s something sweeter than my usual. Some summery future garage. Free download.

JoorNitth’s future garage featured back here with his Don’t Cha Think track. This time a free track from a remix project for Tamara Barnett-Herrin. It’s grey and dark in the UK but this track has a real sense of summer sun. It’s a light garage track, a little stutter on the vocals and a simple rhodes piano motif to guide the track along. Totally dreamy.

Blurb: Calendar Songs is a project started in October 2006 and ran to September 2007, by Tamara Barnett-Herrin, releasing one original song on the Calendar Songs website every month. The acappella and a minimalist backing track were available on the website as well as ccMixter for download, so that anyone could remix the song, and upload it to the website. In May 2008, Calendar Girl released Calendar Songs Volume 1, featuring twelve chosen remixes, one for each month. In connection with the Calendar Songs project, Barnett-Herrin made her acappella tracks and simple instrumental tracks available pursuant to Creative Commons licenses, permitting remixers to make non-commercial uses of her songs.
