John Roman - Revisions 006

Sixth in John Roman’s free series of fortnightly releases. This time Bubba Sparxxx and The Beatie Boys get the remix treatment.

Bubba’s relatively low key, slightly country-style, original gets turned into a creeped out bit of wired urban IDM. It’s the alteration of the drums into something more synthetic and the bits of sirens that does it. The Beastie Boys becomes an excellent piece of techno house, full of pounding drums and piano driven interludes. The pick of the pair.
