With a track name like Vangelis, I was expecting a full-on synth fest in a sub-Blade Runner kind of way. Not so. Yes, there are synths. But the whole thing is a great deal more funky than I’d imagined. He claims prog house status for this, which is pushing it a bit but does give you an idea of how this tune is aiming as much for your feet as your head. A really lovely tune for your Sunday.
