Moduloktopus and Madd Martigann – Bessie’s Bounce

bessiebounce

Moduloktopus is back with a new track for Black History month. Uses the Bessie Smith track that Moby used on Play but goes for an upbeat positive sound, rather than Moby’s downbeat approach. Free download (one of those tweet things).

Blurb: Moduloktopus and Madd MArtigann make Bass music with a unifying purpose. In honor of Black History Month we wanted to give you a raw, powerful anthem to rock out and maintain the roots alive. The words of the Negro Spiritual song by Bessie Jones enhance the vivid theme around the powerful heroes in history that give strength to the spirit of Change and human rights. It’s still been less than 40 years since we all were allowed to drink from the same water fountains, so please next time you’re out on the town share some love with your community. Cheers, Moduloktopus
