Here’s a quiet way to start the week. It’s going to be a rather trying day, so I didn’t want anything too raucous. Lennox are a four-piece band, based out of New York, Boston, and Philadelphia “all at once”, and this little downtempo gem works well. The treated vocals are left somewhere between Bjork and that woman from Flunk. The music has quite a bit of Bjork’s quieter moments about it but without being overly reverential or pastiche.
