Some new music from Italy’s The Banshee. Very much in love with new wave. A kind of Bloc Party mixed with XTC (younger readers may want to ask their Dad about this one).

“Your Nice Habits”, the new album of The Banshee, is now available on itunes and digital stores worldwide. “Your Nice Habits” was produced in February 2008 by Luke Smith (ex-Clor, then producer for Shit Disco, frYars, Theoretical Girl and now in the team working on the new Depeche Mode album). The Banshee fomed in Genova (Italy) in 2001, while the guys were at high school. “Public Talks”, their first album, was released in Italy on Suiteside Oct. 2006.

There’s nothing radically new here but a joyful noise nevertheless.
