YOUR CHOICE: BLOOD SUGAR

As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end. Weatherall started the Your Choice series and so it seemed only appropriate that he ends it as well. Back to the alphabet for the New Year.

Blood Sugar is Andrew Weatherall with David Harrow. You may recall that I did a post on Blood Sugar back in June. In it I said “Weatherall and Harrow didn’t originally use the name for other than remixes or mixes. But in 1996 they produced the “Levels” double-12″, which I think was the only proper release for their Blood Sugar alias.” What I had completely forgotten was that I had bought the Levels double-12″. I’ve probably only played it the once but the sounds work very well given its age. Part of the reason I didn’t play it is that the trainspotter in me didn’t want to damage the beautiful red and white coloured vinyl. How sad.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the Your Choice series. I certainly did. It was interesting to see what you picked. And apologies to those whose tracks didn’t get posted – either I didn’t have them or we’ll come across them eventually as we meander through the alphabet.
