D IS FOR THE DRUM CLUB (PT2)

The Drum Club was Charlie Hall and Lol Hammond. After their early adoption of the progressive house sound on Guerilla Records, they moved more into the Megadog sound of crusty trance and switched labels to Butterfly Records.

 

The duo started out as promoters of their eponymous club and as DJs. They then started to release their own records in the early 1990s on record labels such as Guerilla, Big Life and Butterfly Records. Their first album “Everything Is Now” was released on Butterfly Records in 1993. The album is a bit disappointing but the singles which came from it were really good. So, from 1993:
