NEW MUSIC: COUSIN COLE & POCKETKNIFE
New music from Cousin Cole and Pocketknife, whom I’ve featured a few times before.
They’ve a new EP out with remixes of Lykke Li and Kanye West. I’m none too keen on Kanye, so the pick is the indiediscotastic Pocketknife remix of the perky Lykke Li. Cousin Cole says: “Pocketknife & I decided to send out low bitrate mp3s of the songs on our new EP. The version of “Love Lockdown” here is a little different from the EP version, mainly just shorter for home listening.”
Having got the tracks direct from Cousin Cole, I assumed it was ok to post them and did so yesterday. Overnight, the post got taken down by blogger as it’d been DCMA’d. No idea why.
