D IS FOR DOI-OING

Here we are. The final artist from me in the letter D. From early on in UK dance, Doi-Oing. Yeah, stupid name.

Doi-Oing were Gez Dewar (now in Thee Earls with Justin Robertson), Nick Hale and Nick Nicholson. They started out in 1991 on seminal dance label Brainiak Records and seem to have faded away by the mid-1990s. They only released half a dozen or so singles and no albums. I know nothing about them and only have a few tracks. For your delectation a couple of tracks book-ending their career, the first from the “Live at the Brain 2” album in 1991 and second from a 1996 Spooky single. If anyone has any of their singles, please let me know.
