Some wonderful funky downtempo for you. Why this wasn’t a hit is a mystery. Soul Vibration’s the track to go for.

J-Walk was Manchester artists Martin Brew (Fisher) and Martin Desai. They released one album “A Night On The Rocks” (East West/Warner) in 2002. Despite vigorous promotion, it sank without trace, which was a real shame as it was a lovely album with 60s and 70s lounge influences. Martin Brew isn’t bitter. Oh no. His MySpace bio says:

Maker and player of records (Occasionally, like). After royally getting fucked over by a previous label and by his recording partner, MARTIN BREW AKA J-WALK HAS FINISHED RECORDING THE NEW ALBUM FOR THE MUCH NICER PEACEFROG LABEL. RELEASE DATE TO FOLLOW AS SOON AS I’VE SORTED OUT THE BASTARD SAMPLE CLEARANCES**
