Denise Johnson has a big soulful voice suited to passionate House music. Although having releases in her own right, she is most famous for her contributions to other people’s work.

Most famously providing vocals for Primal Scream’s “Don’t Fight It, Feel It”, she also provided vocals in the 90s for A Certain Ratio and was lead singer with The Joy.

A selection of tracks from singles (mostly vinyl – so a couple of crackles). Pick of the crop is the Heliocentric Mix which goes on a bit, but in a fabulously hypnotic vein. Not quite dance and not quite rock, lost and hazy somewhere in-between.
