BASSOMATIC / COLDCUT
Back again to the darkest dance past for William Orbit as Bassomatic, with an early Coldcut remix.
From the original 1990 release on Guerilla (the picture is from the later Virgin release), these are housey housey numbers, of which Coldcut’s mix is definitely the stronger. There’s little evidence on the other mix either of the magic Orbit would bring to Madonna later or the proesssive house sound for which Guerilla would become famous:
