WEATHERALL MONDAY: BROTHERS LOVE DUBS

Whatever else happened last week, it was a good week as I filled in another gap in my Weatherall collection. And this is form’s today’s Weatherall Monday. The Sabres of Paradise remix of The Mighty Ming by Brothers Loves Dubs.

Brothers Love Dubs were Alan Scott Bremner, David Charles Seaman & Stephen John Anderson. They only produced a smattering of releases, of which their best and most successful was 1992’s The Mighty Ming on Stress Records. This was released with remixes as part of their “Now That’s What I Call Ming Vol 1″ LP in 1993 (really a double 12”), one of which was a Sabres mix. This is a lovely long hypnotic mix. Sabres at their best.
