Too much new music on this blog recently. Let’s hark back to 2002 and Jollymusic. Italians, Francesco de Bellis & Mario Pierro – together Jollymusic – featured back here with their 70s house sound. A remix by Germany’s Tiefschwarz (previously here) takes the tune – Talco Uno – to some really dark and odd places, to end up with something that is less of their usual deep house sound and more deep black (appropriate, being as it is the translation of Tiefschwarz). To lighten the mood, a remix much more in keeping with the innocent happiness of the original tune, from London’s Rob Mello, which since I’m feeling a tad frail, I rather prefer.
