A MAN CALLED ADAM – BAREFOOT

A Man Called Adam comprised mainly of Sally Rodgers and Steve Jones  but also featured Paul Daley (Leftfield) and Peter Woolcott. More info from a previous post here. They did/do lovely balearic downtempo.

This post features a remix of their 1990 classic Barefoot In The Head. As a discogs reviewer notes “A balearic classic. Will certainly sound best heard on a summer beach at sunset, but the comfort of your own home in the chill of winter will do. The title and a lyrical tendency to messianic imagery are lifted from Brian W Aldiss’ SF novel of the same name.”  The mix featured in this post is from a 2001 promo mix.
