APOLLO 440 – CARRERA RAPIDA SP
I love Apollo 440. I just don’t love everything they did. At their best – Liquid Cool – they were genius. At their worst they were chart chasers. Here’s an example of the latter, their 1997 single Carrera Rapida for the computer game Rapid Racer. This gained some irrelevant remixes, includng this one by E-Z Drum & Bass Orchestra – Simon Plaskett and Norman Fisher-Jones. The duo had remixed other A440 singles under different pseudonyms (Fisher-Jones being part of A440). The remix is dnb with a lounge swing influence.
