REPOST: THE ALOOF – ON A MISSION

To fulfill a request from a reader called Intercourse – strange choice of name. In Aloof week, back in November, I featured The Aloof’s 1992 single “On A Mission“, which includes the huge progressive house mix by Fabi Paras (more info on The Aloof here). I was therefore unsurprised to get a request for a repost. But I was surprised that it wasn’t for Fabi’s mix but the other mix featured – The Stanley Mix. This is a soulful house number to which I’ve never paid much regard. But here it is anyway. Features live percussion by Richard Thair.
