EAGLES PREY – TONTOS DRUM (DARREN EMERSON REMIX)
We had a repost of Eagles Prey’s Feeling Warm on Guerilla Records a few days ago. But here’s one which I didn’t post previously. This is a remix of Eagles Prey’s first single Tonto’s Drum. This is a huge epic techno trance track from 1992. The remix is credited to Darren Emerson. But since Karl Hyde provides guitar and Rick Smith was on engineering duties this could just as easily be an Underworld remix. And the progressive techno monsters from early Underworld is the clear reference point for this track. Has a long piano fade at the end, instead of the usual beats fade.
