NEW MUSIC: High Contrast Ft. Tiesto and Underworld – The First Note Is Silent

You may have known about it but this came as a shock to me. Techno heroes Underworld working with dnb artist High Contrast is fine (their Scribble collaboration is a good track). But to collaborate with the world dominating trance monster Tiesto! I’m lost for words. I suspose we should be grateful it isn’t the demonic Guetta. Listen and download if you dare.

I suspect this is the sort of thing that will fall foul of techno, dnb and trance fans alike. But it’s not bad if not quite properly anthemic. It’s sort of an amalgam of the influences of the colaborators if not more than the sum of the parts.
