The Other Tribe v. Kidnap Kid – Don’t Need No Melody

Almost a year to the day since the last post about The Other Tribe, they’re back with a lovely leftfield indie dance track plugged by Annie Mac. Free download.

The Other Tribe are a sprawling Bristol collective who last time gave us the demo to their Don’t Need No Melody. Over the year it’s been given a makeover by Kidnap Kid. If the demo version was about swaying from side to side, this is much more about jumping up and down and giving the choruses better drunken singalong appeal.

Blurb: Free Music Monday is getting all tropical today thanks to a lovely collaboration from Bristol band The Other Tribe and bass music producer Kidnap Kid who has re-worked their track ‘Don’t Need No Melody’. Bring on the bongos…
