Costello – Raiden EP

Ah Abbot and Costello. Vaudeville and film double act from the 1940s and 1950. Never really had the kudos that Laural & Hardy got. Best known for the Who’s On First routine. Nevertheless, still always on telly at the weekends when I was a kid. Inevitably, Costello wasn’t his real name. It was Louis Francis Cristillo.

None of which has anything to do with Costello. At least, I assume it doesn’t. This Costello is from Bordeaux, France and is a new release on Bad Life. This is a decent bit of techno, again with that mechanistic electro flavour. Stormtrooper is a nice bit of bleep electro techno but of the laid back, rather than aural assault variety. Slicer is a bit more electro and the weakest track here. Raiden is a dark bit of electro techno. Quite skeletal.
