DeepWarmth – Sound of Night
Yesterday, we had a remix by lilmanjs of a Ukkonen track. It was so good that I thought I’d check out lilmanjs’ work. He also operates as DeepWarmth and here are a couple of tracks from his recent Sound of the Night release. Free download.
This is ambient techno. There are big washes of sound and the unobtrusive throb of bass. It comes at things from a slightly drone perspective, with movements and moods only shifting slowly.

And, a more recent track, What’s Left Behind. This is also a free download. It’s probably the strongest thing here, with a more chiming melodic adding structure to the ambientness.
