The Fat! Club EP004

You want an EP’s worth of free house? You come to the right place. The Fat! Club release their fourth free EP, ahead of their Bank Holiday beano at the Peckham Palais. Free download via Facebook.

Starts with The Attic Project and Mind Mask. A lovely delicate bit of house, akin to Maribou State. Kastle provide something much more garagey and slightly overly sweet. Change State sample some classic soul from Marvin Gaye for their Let You Go track, putting it in a modern bass setting. Still sounds good. HORRA provide probably the most interesting track with some space house. The EP ends with Joey McCrilley’s take on Chicago House.

Blurb: Chew The Fat! @ Peckham Palais | Bank Holiday Sunday 5th May with Kidnap Kid, Deadboy, Foamo, Maribou State, Pedestrian, Dauwd, SOPHIE Live, Bobby Champs, Youan, Mike ‘Ruff Cut’ Lloyd, Martin ‘Liberty’ Larner, Dom 877, Late Launch residents, Munich residents

EP004 continues to build upon a new and interesting musical direction for The Fat! Club with yet another stellar five track affair featuring three new up and coming UK producers; as well as Fat! Records artist The Attic Project and a welcome addition for one of the US’ most treasured bass producers, Kastle. Established in 1997, The Fat! Club encompasses a record label, blog, club night and management agency. This long running commitment to UK underground music has seen. Chew The Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe, and five consecutive summer residencies at We Love Space, in Ibiza. Now more than ever the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats, and The Fat! Club is as passionate as ever about new talent.
