Weatherall Come Save Me
So, I’ve bounced the post I intended for this afternoon. Why? Because there’s a new Weatherall remix out – well on 23 September. And, it’s a good ‘un.
Weatherall has remixed Come Save Me by Jagwar Ma. This is definitely back to a more 90s Weatherall sound. And I’m all for that. This revels in the guitars and the wobbly sixties-style vocals, and then adds some big 808 drums to ice this remix cake.
Blurb: Nearly 7 minute remix pairing the tracks infectious melody with some bouncy 808 drums, chunky acid bass and flanged guitars for some equally psychedelic and danceable. Howlin by Jagwar Ma has quickly singled itself out as one of the most acclaimed and talked about breakout debut album this year, this recently being recognised with nominations for the UK Independent Music Awards for Best Independent Album and Track.
