The Incredible PWEI vs. Artificial Human

Continuing today’s PWEI theme, here’s a bunch of remixes from Artificial Human (David Miller). Free download.

This contains remixes of a load of classic tracks, including Wise Up Sucker, which he describes as a “mashup of PWEI’s breakthrough classic “Wise Up! Sucker” and founding member Clint Mansell’s soundtrack work “Crimin and Dealin”” Gives the intense original an abstract industrial air.

Blurb: UK indie dance pioneers Pop Will Eat Itself put out their final album in 1995, and I was very depressed for over a decade. Then I pulled myself together and using a fan compendium of all the samples PWEI used in their tunes, I reworked as many as I could. It was a fun summer project but then PWEI released a new album within a year. These tracks are a testament to the love I have for the band and moreso to their particular aesthetic of sonic plunder.
