Immer Tim Engelhardt

imerelectro

Here’s another deep house track from Tim Engelhardt, out on Parquet Recordings. Tim’s output this year has been low by his standards, this being only his third release. It’s therefore good to see something new, after the developments in his Liveset towards a more Detroit sound (here).

The release on Parquet is a double header with E-Spectro. Tim’s track is Immer, which translates as “always” or “forever”. Of it he says “dedicated to a special person, made with love as always.” The track has its root in deep house, as always, but follows the Liveset approach by branching out confidently into stranger techno and IDM shores. It’s a lovely lost groove track.

What of the other track that makes up the release? E-Spectro is a Russian producer and Broken Line is a lovely track. There’s a bit of techno and a bit of synth about it but knitted together superbly through a buzzing bass.

Blurb: following the success of our 2 Tracker EPs, here comes the next one with finest melodic sounds by the young german talent TIM ENGELHARDT and E-SPECTRO from russia with their massive follow-up single to “Black Light”!
