Dubbing the techno

Here’s a couple of dub techno tracks for your listening pleasure. Matthias Springer (almost inevitably) and Kristoban.

The Mathias Springer track, The Laidback Lizard is from his forthcoming Tales of Dub and Acid, out next week. This is a slightly creepy take on dub techno, with lush dub offset by reptilian squelching and unsettling hissing.

The other track is much more soothing. On Patterns & Shapes, Kristoban offers an ambient dub techno experience, with nearly not there dub and a little cymbal. It’s all about the space between the echoes.

If you liked that, try this downloadable live mix from Kristoban
