This looks like being a week of the return of old friends of this blog. First up, Coolio Franco, who hasn’t featured round these parts for about two years. He’s back with some IDM and acid electronics but always with a relaxed air. Raving in a onesie, perhaps. Free download.
Bergorne is a contrast between smoothness and IDM jarring. DD1 sans accent joke is a bit more proto house, sounding quite like Cabaret Voltaire’s early 90s house incarnation. Dusty and Green is the most unapologetically IDM. It has that sense of an immersion in 90s music, from it’s off-kilter sounds and blooping. Probably the strongest of the three tracks.
