Tracks of my year: November

Clone bark

Here’s a thing. A Steve Cobby track. Not an original. Not even a remix by him. But a remix OF him. By Tempelhof  of Clams.

I said “The original of Clams from Everliving is a squelchy thing, drifting slowly along and a bassy kind of way. Kinda theremin. This remix takes that theremin air as its jumping off point. The track slowly sidles into view on a wave of delicate theremin and plucked dulled strings. It then morphs into an almost Japanese downtempo funk. Such an assured air. To take on something from Everliving is a tough ask but this can stand proudly alongside. Get yerself a copy from Bandcamp – it’s only £1.”
