Tripped Out clips from the DF Tram EP

Wolf

DF Tram is one of those names on the chill out scene that’s been around for a long while but without ever really impinging on me in any particular way. But here’s some dubbed downtempo chill that includes remixes from Marsha;; Watson.

A Ping At The Stone Circle is full of lazy beats, delays and dubs with strange samples bouncing around. No wonder he’s been on tour with the Orb. Psychedelic dubbiness. Marshall Watson offers a dreamspace remix of The Mystery. This is very much in line with his usual space ambient style. Gentle sounds, reverbs and whispers from off stage. There’s also an Afterlife edit of the same track, which adds a vocodered sense and is slightly more ‘out there’.

The final track is Soul Exchange Animat mix, wherein the dub returns in full effect. This has that Ibiza sunset feel, which borders on the soporific.
