Per QX – Let It Go (original mix)

Lego Deadshot

Here’s a nifty little tune from Per QX. It’s vocal house, so not my usual thing, but it has such a lovely positive vibe to its parping house that I couldn’t help but be won over. Proper melodic happiness. Out on 20 May on Glasgow Underground.

Blurb: Per QX will release his brilliant new track ‘Let It Go’ on Glasgow Underground on May 20.

The Stockholm native, Berlin based DJ/Producer has had a flying start to the year, with his previous track ‘Ready 4 This’ being selected as one of Pete Tong’s essential new tunes. He also recently received support from Danny Howard when he played back to back with fellow Swede Eric Prydz on a special R1 show.

Per has also earned his spot in the history books, featuring prominently in Anna Gavanas & Anna Ostrom’s recently released book ‘DJ-Liv’, all about the evolution of nightlife and electronic music in Sweden.

His productions regularly receive DJ support from some of the biggest names in the business, including Hot Since 82, Skream, Mark Knight, and Roger Sanchez. He has released records on some of the world’s finest electronic labels including Strictly Rhythm, Noir Music, Size records and Great Stuff recordings.

His track ‘Give It Up’ also received a remix from none other than Detroit legend Kevin Saunderson.

Oh and did we mention he was also one of the first producers to go in the studio with Sam Smith?

It’s been a great start to the year for Per, but it’s clear from the rolling bass line and hypnotic beat on ‘Let It Go’ that it’s just going to keep getting better and better!
