Komati – Kraken ep
Komati are Erin (formerly Symmetry) and A N Other. Their Kraken EP evokes the tentacles of the legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland. The legend is usually ascribed to sightings of the giant squid. The track on the other hand offers menacing thrum and ominous synths in watery depths. Book of Shadows is equally portentous, being named after a book containing religious texts and instructions for magical rituals found within the Neopagan religion of Wicca. A high piano line gives hope and anxiety, underpinned by a low, low bass. Techno from the dark side.
