For The Many EP by Cobby & Litten & Corbyn

As the general election in the UK regains momentum after the terrible events of the Manchester bomb, here’s the first decent UK political record for ages. It comes from long-time Corbyn supporter Steve Cobby and lyricist/poet Russ Litten. The track “For The Many” echoes the Labour Party’s 2017 manifesto and contains plenty of Jeremy Corbyn himself.

The tune is a brass-flavoured electronic funk track. Whether you’re after “strong and stable leadership” or “for the many, not the few”, get yourself a copy of this EP. Revel in an excess of Jeremy or stick to the dub version and play a Theresa speech alongside.

Blurb: On Thursday 18th of May Russ and Steve were honoured to be invited to perform at the Jeremy Corbyn rally in Hull.  They repaired to Steve’s Shedio the following night and cooked up For The Many.  On the Monday, in Zebedees Yard, 4000 people sang along in the Yorkshire Sunshine.  They met Jeremy afterwards and discovered he already had the song on his phone. He asked if it could be played at forthcoming rallies. The answer was an unequivocal yes.

A seed of an idea was planted. Steve concocted up an extended version interpolating JC as well as an extended dub.
Now this four track EP is available to purchase for just £1 with all profits going directly to The Labour Party.
