Ralston X Made To Move – House Rocka #house ##bass

Bangers. I usually avoid them like the plague. But every once in a while one will get through. Ralston x Made To Move’s House Rocka is one of those. A somewhat garage-inflected house track. This gets points for restraining the peaks and adding a good whomp of bass to things. Allows a proper groove to develop in the hips without obliterating the synapses.

Blurb: Following releases on AC Slater’s Night Bass imprint and Skapes’ label, Eskape Muzik, Ralston is rapidly ascending to become one of the leaders in the new wave of UK bassline-driven house that is slowly penetrating an international audience.

After delivering a firing-on-all-cylinders guest mix for Manchester-based Night Shift Sound on Reform Radio (recently nominated by the ARIA’s – formerly the Sony Awards – for ‘Best Online Station’), Ralston was invited to get involved in the UK collective, with an initial single, ‘The Call’, appearing on Northern Power House Vol. 2, released in May (to critical acclaim from Complex, Clash Magazine, Earmilk and more). He now returns to Night Shift Sound with a collaborative single release featuring Mexico City’s Made To Move, in the shape of ‘House Rocka’ and ‘Want Some’, two peak time, garage-led, bass-heavy bangers.
